In 1996, she created, wrote and directed a show called "K.I.D.S." (Kids In Difficult Situations). In 2011, K.I.D.S became a part of a new corporation, Honest to Goodness Productions, Inc., which became a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The mission and concept of this performing group is "Children helping children through performance." K.I.D.S. is a talented group of local youngsters who help other school children with social dilemmas they face every day on the bus, in the schoolyard, in the classroom, and sometimes, even at home.

"K.I.D.S." performs skits, monologues, and songs about problems school children may be having. Some skits are: "A Family Dilemma" (alcoholism in the family); "Nasty Nicknames" (make you feel bad about yourself); "Bullying" (What's wrong with me?); "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" (What did I do wrong?); "The Principal's Office" (drugs); and many others.

"K.I.D.S." original music is timely, appropriate and fun as well as telling a story. Some examples are the songs and raps titled, "Hey, Mr. Cool" (Smoking Isn't Cool); "Tomorrow is Another Day" (Words hurt, too.); "Don't Bully Us!" (Bullying is stupid!) "Stand Up (To Bullies)", "We Don't Need Drugs - We Need More Hugs."

At the end of each skit or monologue, the actors freeze and another ensemble member comes out and talks to the audience about the scene; how it occurred, and where children can get help without being afraid. For 15 years "K.I.D.S." has been entertaining and helping local school children by performing at assemblies and community events.
